A new qualification is available for delivery by FireQual Approved Training Centers.
This new qualification provides individuals with knowledge of the hazards and risks associated with fire in the workplace, how fire risk is controlled in the workplace, the principles and practice of fire safety management at work, and the role of the nominated fire marshal.
New qualification available
This new qualification also requires individuals to demonstrate their ability to safely use portable fire fighting equipment, so they not only develop their skills, but can also demonstrate to others that they can handle basic fire fighting equipment, within their workplace setting.
Individuals undertaking this qualification do not need to have prior knowledge or experience of fire safety, or acting in the role of a fire marshal. It will support those wishing to develop their general knowledge and/or those looking to take on the role of fire marshal, within their workplace.
