Building Safety Regulator

The work of the IICC will play an important role in supporting the shadow Building Safety Regulator

Chris Auger expressed his thoughts commenting: “I am extremely honored to have been invited onto the IICC which I have gratefully accepted. The work of the IICC will play an important role in supporting the shadow Building Safety Regulator and raising competence across the built environment and fire sectors.

Stephen Adams, Chief Executive–BAFE, added: “Alongside his role within BAFE, Chris is involved with a number of the Hackitt working groups and committees. With this brings a wide range of knowledge and understanding of the current fire safety industry regarding evidencing competency and where this can improve to support the work of our quality registered companies. We look forward to stronger regulation of the fire safety industry.”
