Twiceme Technology recently closed a project with the Royal Institute of Technology (KTH) that resulted in a better understanding of why Twiceme is quickly approaching a global standard of vital information.

The uniqueness of being an ingredient brand that leverages a network effect was highlighted and is a key feature in future community growth. This is great news for all everyone who wants safer adventures and workplaces for their loved ones.

Understanding the Twiceme Community

Twiceme Technology has created a technology that makes vital information accessible in case of emergency. Bystanders, colleagues and co-riders can easily access information of their choosing using a smartphone which can in turn help all the people involved in an accident response take more informed actions.

Engineers from KTH discovered patterns of the so-called network effect among Twiceme users

In collaboration with engineers from the Swedish Royal Institute of Technology (KTH), Daniel Hallin, and Filip Mälberg, an innovations project was conducted to find out how the value of the Twiceme concept can be increased by leveraging the power of the community.

The project resulted in a clear path to quickly become a global standard of vital information and insights into why the community is growing. Among many interesting findings, the engineers from KTH discovered patterns of the so-called network effect among Twiceme users.

Network effect

The network effect is the same effect that puts companies like Airbnb and Uber in such positive positions within their respective fields and allows them to create an impact.

In the context of Twiceme, it means that the network effect can be leveraged to make the Twiceme community larger and stronger at a faster pace. This is great news for the Twiceme users as it means that every day there are an increasing number of people who can help in case of an emergency.

As we aim for safer adventures and working environments, the faster we can spread the technology and thereby grow the community, the better. Gaining momentum from network effects will take us even faster towards our goals,” says Christian Connolly, CEO of Twiceme Technology.

The Power of the Twiceme Community

The Twiceme community has grown significantly since its start in 2016 and consists of hundreds of rescue organizations and thousands of users worldwide. Moreover, a recent update of the Twiceme app allows billions of users worldwide to scan Twiceme devices even without downloading the app.

Since the value of the community increases the more users that are involved, and more users are attracted to it the more the community grows, this becomes a self-sustaining effect. This is called the network effect and will have a great effect on the rate of growth of the Twiceme community, according to the research at KTH.

Following this research, the great value of the Twiceme community has been shown but the future potential is huge. The collaboration with KTH is the start of a rewarding relationship as more projects are planned for the future. More on these projects will follow.
