On arrival, FRNSW crews observed two units well alight on the first and second storeys of the two-level residence, and immediately began attacking the flames. Crews managed to contain and extinguish the fire in approximately 45 minutes.

Twenty-one people were evacuated, with four people transported to the hospital by NSW Ambulance paramedics. FRNSW completed duties just after 1.00 am, with the site handed over to NSW Police for further investigation. FRNSW specialist fire investigators are attending the scene now with NSW Police forensics to assist with investigating the cause of the fire.
