Prior to his current role, he was Deputy Chief Fire Officer of Northamptonshire Fire and Rescue Service, Assistant Chief Fire Officer of Hertfordshire Fire and Rescue Service and a group commander of the London Fire Brigade. Tuhill completed his education at the University of Essex.
