Guadalajara International Airport has placed an order for an Oshkosh Striker 6x6 Aircraft Rescue and Firefighting (ARFF) vehicle from Oshkosh Airport Products, a division of Pierce Manufacturing Inc. and part of the Oshkosh Corporation.
This acquisition strengthens a long-standing collaboration with the firm, starting from the airport's first purchase of an Oshkosh ARFF vehicle in 2002.
Expansion of an Established Fleet

The new vehicle will join Guadalajara's existing fleet, which includes a Striker 6x6 equipped with a Snozzle High Reach Extendable Turret (HRET), a Striker 4x4, another Striker 4x4 with a Snozzle HRET, and an additional Striker 6x6.
Oshkosh was once again the choice for Guadalajara International Airport due to its reliability, the advanced technology integral to its products, and strong local support facilitated by its dealer ATEPSA (Autobuses Especializados S.A. de C.V.).

The Striker 6x6 ARFF vehicle is equipped with a Scania DC16, 670 HP engine, offering substantial power and dependability. It features a hydraulic 10kW electric generator, enabling mission-critical operations without external power sources, and an Eco-EFP foam system for precise and eco-friendly foam distribution.
Firefighting capabilities are enhanced with two preconnected handlines and turrets for versatile operations, and the vehicle includes dual agent and air hose reels, along with an electric cord reel for extended functionality.
Projected Delivery and Local Support
The delivery of the Striker 6x6 is scheduled for December 2025. Upon arrival, Oshkosh Airport Products' International Field Service Representatives will oversee on-site commissioning and operator training.
