More than 30 participants from eight different countries experienced the highly efficient operation of high-pressure water mist systems in firefighting at first hand.
On the test site of AQUASYS Technik GmbH near Vienna/Austria informative lectures were on the agenda, which highlighted the advantages of fine water droplets compared to the common water sprinklers.
Fire protection sector
The AQUASYS Fireday focused on practical applications of this innovative technology. Among other things, the extinguishing of a fire with lithium-ion batteries was undertaken so that what was discussed could also be experienced in reality.
In addition, the AQUASYS team also presented fire tests for test benches and false ceilings to participants from the fire protection sector and industry. After numerous lectures and illustrative examples, the evening ended with a city tour on a historic tram and a typical viennese dinner.
