Talent is a program that aims to solve the engineering shortage in the fire and security industry by training and placing more engineers. Zitko is already proudly affiliated with the Armed Forces Covenant, an organization that aims to provide the Forces community with access to support services such as housing, financial help, and education. 

They understand the vital work that the Armed Forces Covenant does for Forces personnel, and they want to play a part in making their next steps in life as fulfilling and rewarding as possible.

Transferrable skills

Open to individuals from every background, many of the Zitko Talent candidates are former Forces personnel who are providing their valuable skills to the industry’s enrichment. What makes the program such a natural next step in the careers of servicemen and women is the common disciplines required. 

A profession based on logic, practicality, organization, and problem-solving, serving in the Forces can provide talented candidates with the transferrable skills required to stand them in good stead to achieve lucrative and rewarding careers as engineers in the fire and security industry. 

Streamlined services

The resettlement phase into civilian life can be challenging for many of those leaving the forces because it often isn’t clear what career options are suitable for them. Joining the fire and security industry as an engineer is a natural progression for servicemen and women, made easier by the streamlined services provided by Talent.
