Fire and Rescue NSW (FRNSW) crews are currently at the scene of a significant apartment block roof collapse at Cabramatta, in Sydney’s south-west, New South Wales, Australia.
The two-level block in Myall Street has sustained substantial damage, after the roofing section collapsed inwards, on the top level of the building, just after 12.30 pm.

Specialist FRNSW crews are assessing the extent of the damage to 6 two-level units within the complex. Approximately 20 occupants managed to evacuate safely.
Five fire trucks and approximately 20 firefighters are on scene, and operations are expected for an extended period as they stabilize the site and gather further information.
