Media students from Ysgol Elfed High School, in nearby town Buckley, Flintshire visited FireMisting’s HQ to work as part of an online marketing team preparing to launch the company’s new Misting Demonstration Pod, which showcases a fire suppression misting system, the latest development in fire safety technology.

The trip, a collaborative effort between Ysgol Elfed High School, TASC Holdings & FireMisting, allowed students to control a high spec drone camera, take part in a digital photography competition and watch and record the new FireMisting technology in action.

Students saw first hand the cutting edge fire suppression technology installed by FireMisting (now a legal requirement in all new and renovated Welsh homes) which works by spraying a fine mist to extinguish fires rather than the jets of a traditional sprinkler.

Head of Media, Mr Ajay Pandya added: “It’s been an amazing day for the year tens and I’ve already been asked by a few about work experience. They’ve used a lot of the camera angles they’ve learned at Elfed today and learned a lot about how to promote a business online. It has been a great experience that we’re all eager to repeat.”
