Fike Corporation hosts a meeting with Damian Porcari, Regional Director for the US Patent and Trademark Office’s Elijah J. McCoy Midwest Regional Office in Detroit.

Porcari visited Fike because it is one of the corporate stakeholders in the Midwest region that regularly files for the patent protection of the intellectual property associated with innovative designs and products developed by Fike in rupture disc technologies, explosion protection, pressure activation, fire alarm systems and fire suppression solutions.
The U.S. Patent and Trademark Office’s goal is to promote innovation and stimulate the economy by connecting entrepreneurs to government resources, supporting students and teachers through STEM education programs, including professional development for teachers, gathering feedback from regional stakeholders and recruiting diverse talent from the region.
