Rosenbauer America sent a heavy rescue vehicle on a Spartan chassis, Rosenbauer Spain a forest firefighting vehicle on an Unimog to the show. At the Interschutz 2010 Rosenbauer displayed remarkable innovations and demonstrated its product line in action.
ARFF Vehicles:
The complete line of the PANTHER aircraft rescue and firefighting vehicles and the rescue stair vehicle of the Leipzig airport was displayed by Rosenbauer at the Interschutz. One 4x4 and one 6x6 (both with Euro 5 engines and disc brakes), as well as two 8x8 models (Düsseldorf airport with a short wheelbase and GACA with a long wheelbase including the HRET "Stinger") were presented. The two Leipzig airport's PANTHERs 8x8 SWB with HRET, the rescue stair vehicle from Berlin-Schönefeld and the hydraulic platform B32 by Metz Aerials were introduced in various shows at the demonstration grounds, as well as at the training center of the Leipzig airport.
Rescue Truck Road-Rail-Tunnel:
The presentation of the rescue vehicle on rails for the Stuttgart Straßenbahnen AG was another highlight in the exhibition's special vehicle department. The vehicle was designed in cooperation with the customer for operation on the street, on rails and in tunnels.
Eye Catchers:
The rescue vehicle for the Ludwigshafen fire department, which is equipped with a recovery crane with a lifting power of 572 kNm was yet another eye catcher at Interschutz. HAZMAT and Decontamination:
The HAZMAT and decontamination vehicles were another point of interest. A decontamination rescue vehicle with comprehensive HAZMAT equipment operated by the plant fire department of Infraserv Höchst in Frankfurt was shown by Rosenbauer at the demonstration grounds.
Word-wide Orientation:
The exhibition stands of Daimler, MAN, Scania, Technisches Hilfswerk and the Federal Office of Defence Technology and Procurement were also enhanced with interesting vehicles by Rosenbauer.
Rosenbauer was not only able to greet an extremely interested audience to its stand, the fact that the guests came from all corners of the world confirmed the world-wide orientation of the group and a strong interest in the wide range of Rosenbauer products.
