FirePro Announced MED Certificates Renewal Have Been Issued By The BSI Group

FirePro is pleased to announce that the new FirePro MED certificates have been issued, this time by the BSI Group The Netherlands B.V., a European notified body.

In addition to the FirePro condensed aerosol generators included in the previous MED certificates, the models FP-4200T/TS are also certified by the authority. Also, the new MED certificates include a reference to Annex 1 of the FirePro Marine Manual, Version 5, issued in August 2021.

The MED certificate covers passenger cruisers, cargo ships, tankers of unlimited gross tonnage, off-shore oil platforms, and other types of vessels falling under IMO jurisdiction.

This certificate is one more proof of the commitment to intensive R&D, stringent quality control, and testing.
