The Fike Corporation was recently recognized as the Large Business of the Year by the Blue Springs Economic Development Corporation (BSEDC) at their EMPOWER Business Awards celebration meeting.
This was the inaugural EMPOWER Business Awards event designed to celebrate the importance of business and entrepreneurship in Blue Springs and highlight the unique business and civic spirit in the community. The award recipients were selected based on economic factors such as growth, development, capital investment, job creation and retention and leadership.

“As a business with a long history in Blue Springs, Fike is pleased to be recognized for its contributions to the economic and civic development of the city,” said Chuck Kopoulos, Fike’s Chief Executive Officer.
Other nominees in the large business category included ATK Small Caliber Systems, Courtyard by Marriott, Summit Custom Homes and Xceligent.
