Engines continue to evolve and change as manufacturers contend with tighter EPA regulations.

One of the changes to contend with is Kawasaki’s elimination of the 28 HP carbureted engine, used in the gasoline-powered Mongoose.

Darley upgrades Mongoose drive

Based on the above, Darley have upgraded the Mongoose drive to a fuel-injected, liquid-cooled, 31 HP Kawasaki engine.

This re-design maintains the same footprint, while providing improved performance. The new package offers electronic altitude compensation and cooler operation among other benefits.
