The UFA is a non-profit advocacy organization representing the health, safety and interests of New York City Firefighters and the citizens they are sworn to protect.

The VRFA joined existing resources from the Auburn and Pacific Fire Departments to provide fire services to the communities of Algona, Auburn and Pacific. They provide Fire Prevention, Emergency Medical Services, Fire Operations, and Business Inspections.

The volunteer fire department protects a territory that covers 24 square miles and more than 60,000 residents, while also providing mutual aid to several other communities and the New York City metro area.

The West University Place Fire Department provides fire protection and emergency medical services to the community with highly trained personnel and a quick and effective response to a wide variety of emergencies. The West University Place Fire Department operates an Advanced Life Support (ALS) ambulance, a Fire Engine with ALS capabilities and a Command Unit. These units are staffed by full-time personnel 24/7.

The purpose of the Western Fire Chiefs Association is to serve as a representative of choice of (and for) career and volunteer leaders of fire related emergency service organizations throughout the WFCA member states and the Western Pacific Islands. The WFCA helps develop, and supports the work of, those leaders and organizations in order that they may best provide for the protection of people.

Wethersfield Fire Department is mandated by Connecticut General Statutes to enforce the Connecticut Fire Safety Code, the Connecticut Fire Prevention Code and to investigate all fires and explosions within the town. The office also provides public education programs in schools, at public gatherings and at elderly housing facilities.

The Wichita Falls Fire Department operates out of eight strategically located Fire Stations and consists of 156 Operational personnel working from a three-platoon system.
