The Riverdale Heights Volunteer Fire Department & Rescue Squad consists of more than 60 dedicated members who serve Riverdale, Maryland. They provide consultancy services with regards to cooking fire safety, fire extinguisher safety, home fire escape planning, homefire sprinklers, smoke alarm safety and much more.

The Rochester Fire Department provides professional services for life preservation, incident stabilization and property conservation. They protect life and property through fire suppression, emergency medical services, hazardous material management, technical rescue, fire prevention, and much more.

From a modest beginning of fifty-one men and one pumper, RVFD has grown to four stations, 240 members, and a frontline fleet of 5 Engines, 3 Ladder Trucks, 1 Heavy Rescue Squad, 3 ALS Medic Units, an ALS chase car, 4 BLS Ambulances, 2 Brush Trucks, 10 support vehicles, a mobile canteen, a breathing air support unit, a special unit, and much more.

The Rowlett Fire Department provides emergency and non-emergency services to an area of 21 square miles with a residential population of 62,000. They have 90 firefighters as their staff and four stations that operate on a 24-hour basis. The Rowlett Fire Department responds to over 5,000 incidents annually.

Rural Fire Protection District 1 Of Sequoyah County is a volunteer fire department serving Western Sequoyah County since 1985.

The Sacramento Metropolitan Fire District, "Metro Fire," serves a population of over 745,000 in a 359 square mile service area. Metro Fire is the 7th largest fire agency in the State of California.

Salt Lake City Fire Department has over 340 members serving 200,00 residents, with a business and tourism population that nearly doubles this number, within the city’s 110 square miles. They are an all-hazards response department with over 80% of their annual 28,000 (2018) calls involving a medical situation. They operate 14 fire stations which include: 12 engines, 3 trucks, 2 quints, and 5 aircraft rescue vehicles.

The Saluda Fire and Rescue Department serves a rural community of approximately 3100 residents in 51 square miles and is located in a mountain community. They provide structural, wildland, rescue, EMS first response, and hazmat operations to the residents in their community. They also provide mutual aid to 5 neighboring departments covering an additional 174 square miles and 33,000 residents.

From the Great Earthquake and Fire of 1906 to the Loma Prieta Earthquake of 1989, the Department has grown to meet the many challenges along the way. Today, the San Francisco Fire Department serves an estimated 1.5 million people, providing fire suppression and emergency medical services to the residents, visitors and workers within San Francisco.

The City of San José was founded in 1777 and is located in the South San Francisco Bay Area. It's the tenth largest city in the U.S. and the third largest in California. SJFD serves San José’s incorporated city limits and unincorporated areas of Santa Clara County totaling around 1.2 million residents.

Located in a rural area southwest of the Dallas-Fort Worth metropolitan area, the Selden Volunteer Fire Department (SVFD) is an all-volunteer department composed of 20 members. SVFD’s response area covers approximately 200 square miles and on average, they respond to between 100 and 150 calls annually.

The Shelburne Fire Department has been providing emergency services to the residents of Shelburne since 1941. They are a professional 100% volunteer organization serving the Vermont community out of a single station, built in 1983. They provide fire suppression, heavy rescue, marine rescue, hazardous material control and fire prevention & education services.

Shelbyville Fire Department provides fire protection and suppression to the City of Shelbyville, to the level of training received by its members and with the equipment available. They also provide assistance and rescue programs comparable to the training and ability of the members and to the extent that the equipment allows them.

The Sioux Rapids Fire Department is an organization of dedicated professionals who are committed to serving the community by protecting life, property, and the environment through prevention, education and fire services.

Founded in 1976, Snow Lake Fire Department's service area covers much more than the Town of Snow Lake Shores. They cover over 50 square miles of Benton County, as well as provide mutual aid to the five other fire departments in Benton County.

A self-sustaining government organization, Sourcewell has over 40 years of dedicated service helping government, education, and non-profit agencies operate more efficiently through a variety of solutions.

The South Carolina State Firefighters’ Association, founded in 1905 and headquartered in Columbia, SC, provides services such as education, training, benefits and representation to the fire departments of South Carolina.

The South Holland Fire Department is made up of the South Holland Fireman’s Association and the full-time members are charted as the South Holland Professional Firefighters Association. The South Holland Fire Department is an Advance Life Support (ALS) EMS response department.

Firefighters respond to a wide range of emergencies including road traffic collisions, water rescues, and many other types of ‘special service’ incidents. However, while work responding to 999 calls is both well-known and well-valued by the public, far more contact with local people is actually through varied and extensive work to prevent incidents from happening in the first place.
