Challenging Brickwork Design
The distinctive curved facade of the building posed installation challenges for the NCCTs. Keyfix addressed this by designing bespoke trays that matched the curvature of the structure, assisting contractors in implementing a seamless fit.
In total, Keyfix provided 5,441 meters of NCCT, which included 981 Pre-Formed Corners, 13,750 Stainless Steel Weeps, and 1,365 reveal returns, ensuring consistent drainage and fire safety across the building exterior.

Consequently, Keyfix was tasked with providing its NCCTs, which exceeds minimum standards while also supporting the project’s highly original design ambitions.
Challenging brickwork design
Indeed, with the building featuring a challenging brickwork design that incorporated significant curvature, Keyfix was required to devise a way of allowing the contractors to install the NCCTs around the curve. Consequently, bespoke tray designs were implemented on the NCCTs to allow them to follow the shape of the curve.
To ensure robust and trusted passive fire protection without requiring sealants, tapes, or mastics, Keyfix supplied 5,441m of NCCT, including 981 Pre-Formed Corners, 13,750 Stainless Steel Weeps and 1365 reveal returns ensuring continuous cavity drainage and fire-safe performance across the façade.
