With the support of Morton’s Towing & Recovery and JaegerTech Corp, MFC International successfully conducted a demonstration exercise for the range of Airlift Cushions and Catch Bags in Maryland USA this week.

MFC Airlift cushions provide an exceptionally strong and steady lift whilst uniformly distributing pressure, thanks to their large contact area. MFC International Catch Bags are designed to be used in conjunction with Airlift Cushions and Bags during the up-righting of vehicles and large objects.

Preventing further damage

Their new Catch Bags worked even better than expected, with an exceptionally soft catch

The Catch bags are designed to prevent a rapid and dangerous decent, helping to prevent further damage to the recovered vehicle, and for the safety of the crew working on the scene.

To demonstrate how to safely and precisely recover an overturned vehicle, they went to Morton’s Towing & Recovery in Clarksburg, and using a combination of MFC Airlift Cushions and Catch Bags, they were able to successfully upright a 27 Ton cement truck. Their new Catch Bags worked even better than expected, with an exceptionally soft catch that ensured the trucks' smooth return to the tarmac.

They would like to say a huge thanks to Morton's Towing, to David Morton, John Collins and all of the team on the ground who’s hard work and professionalism made this exercise such a success. Specialist controllers, hose systems, and compressors were supplied by their US dealer JaegerTech Corp and they would like to extend their thanks to both Jim Jaeger and Tony Testa.
