Marion Body Works, a manufacturer of commercial truck bodies, fire & emergency apparatus, custom cabs, custom engineered vehicles, and defense bodies, is committed to fostering the next generation of young professionals. The company is proud to host six interns for the 2022 Summer Internship Program.
New Interns Recruited
The engineering department welcomes Kayla Lipsey (UW-Platteville), David Kanowitz (Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology), and Zack Watters (UW-Platteville). Watters returns after working at Marion Body Works through the high school Youth Apprenticeship Program from 2018-2020.
Holden Young (UW-Green Bay) will be working in the Accounting Department and Justin Sivertson (UW-La Crosse) will aid the Purchasing Department. Finally, rounding out the group is the new Marketing Intern, Michael Marshall (UW-Green Bay).

Marion Body Works will provide hands-on learning, valuable experiences, and the opportunity for interns to hone critical skills in their respective fields of interest. In addition to participating in collaborative projects, companywide events, and conferences, the interns are invited to Lunch and Learn events throughout the summer.
The goal of Lunch and Learns is to provide cross-department knowledge and support a well-rounded education before entering the workforce. At the end of the summer, the Marion Body Works Leadership Team and various community members will observe presentations from the interns on their learnings throughout the experience.

Cameron Prailes, Accounting Specialist; Bridget Streicher, CAD Designer; Lasia Vang, IT Specialist; Seth Korb, CAD Designer; Andrew Klemp, CAD Designer; and Steven Papendorf, Business Intelligence, are a few examples of previous interns who have chosen to call Marion Body Works home post-graduation.
