This committee oversees the development of NFPA 461, which is the "Standard for Fire Protection and Life Safety at Spaceport and Support Facilities." This appointment is a significant step in Fiorentini's involvement with NFPA activities.

His expertise in fire safety protocols extends to participation in the "Fire Reporting (FIP-AAA)" technical committee since 2014, which manages the 901 "Standard Classification of Incident Reporting and Fire Protection Data."
Contributions to Building and Life Safety Standards
Fiorentini also holds positions on the "Industrial and Storage Occupancies" (BLD-IND & SAF-IND Commissions) technical committees, which he joined in 2019.
These committees focus on the 5000 "Building Construction and Safety Code" and the 101 "Life Safety Code," further contributing to enhancing safety protocols and standards in various occupancies.
