Firefighting teams are currently tackling a significant grass fire near Boolaroo, located in Lake Macquarie.
The fire ignited at approximately 12:45 pm close to Milburn Circuit and is being intensified by robust easterly winds. Although the fire is in a heavily wooded area, no properties are at risk as of now.
Emergency Response Effort
Fire and Rescue NSW (FRNSW) has dispatched personnel from eight fire trucks to the scene.
Their efforts are being supported by the Rural Fire Service and at least one aircraft. The collaboration aims to control and extinguish the blaze as efficiently as possible.
