The mission of the Coppell Fire Department is to serve the citizens and business community of Coppell by preserving life, property and the environment through the efficient delivery of education, prevention, public service, emergency response, code enforcement and administrative activities.

The Harris County Fire Marshal’s Office embodies these core values through the operating philosophy of serving the customers; preserving their integrity; taking care of the people and protecting future. The Prevention Division is responsible for the effective prevention of fires through the inspection of buildings during and after construction to determine compliance with the adopted county fire code.
