This compressible graphite intumescent seal is designed for glazed apertures and meets, as well as exceeds, the stringent EN1634-1 standards.
Features of the Pyroglaze Compression Seal
The Pyroglaze Compression is available for both thirty- and sixty-minute fire protection applications, offering up to 2mm compression on each side of the glass, facilitating accommodation of tolerances between the door, bead, and glass thickness.
In the event of a fire, the intumescent material expands to form an effective seal in the glazing pocket, thereby helping to prevent the early ignition of glazing beads on the protected side.

Key features of the Pyroglaze Compression include its simple dry glazing system that is easy to cut and apply, requiring no cleaning post-installation. It is certified for 30 and 60 minute protection of glazed apertures and has been tested according to EN1634-1 standards alongside various EW and EI glass types.
Moreover, it is suitable for use with Integrity and Radiation fire-rated glass, being Certifire approved (Pyroguard CF5818).
