FRNSW Battles Car And Truck Fire In Sydney's West

A car and truck have been destroyed by fire overnight in Granville in Sydney's west. Fire and Rescue NSW (FRNSW) was called to the incident in Sixth Street around 3.15 am, after reports of a car well alight. Firefighters arrived to find one vehicle totally engulfed in flames with a truck parked directly behind also on fire. The crew quickly got to work and extinguished the blaze within an hour. There were no reports of injuries or other property damage.
