Qualifications and Requirements
Midland Fire is looking for motivated individuals with the following qualifications: Approved Electrician status with relevant credentials, 2391 Test & Inspection certification or equivalent, 18th Edition Wiring Regulations, at least three years of experience as a qualified electrician, current ECS/CSCS Health & Safety certification, and a full UK driving license.
A clean criminal record is necessary, as an enhanced DBS check is required for working with children and vulnerable adults.
Desired Experience
While not essential, preferred qualifications include experience with fixed wire testing, PASMA/IPAF certification, Emergency Lighting qualifications, and Electrical QS experience.
These additional skills will be considered advantageous during the selection process.
