A hose reel from Hannay's new 6000 Series: Hannay will be at NAHAD's Annual Meeting & Convention 2009

Hannay Reels announced today that it will attend the National Association for Hose and Accessories Distribution (NAHAD) Annual Meeting & Convention, April 18-22, 2009, at the J.W. Marriott Starr Pass Resort in Tucson, Arizona.

Hannay manufactures a variety of Reels for the Hose and accessory industry, including the Hannay 6000 Series reels, which are versatile and adaptable to many applications, and are designed for a variety of power rewind options. Their strong, heavy-duty construction allows for efficient handling of longer lengths of hose. The 6000 Series reels operate at pressures to 1000 PSI (69 bar) and can manage product temperatures from -80 to +185 degrees Fahrenheit (-62 to +85 degrees Celsius).

The Hannay 900 Series reels are rugged, durable reels designed to improve the efficiency and safety of bulk transfer, fuel dispensing and suction/discharge operations. The 900 Series accommodates single 1 ¼-inch or 1 ½-inch hose with lengths of 25 to 75 feet. The reels are available with a heavy-duty spring rewind motor and operate at pressures to 600 PSI. The

900 Series will handle product temperatures from -60 to +175 degrees Fahrenheit (-51 to +79 degrees Celsius).

The N600 Series reels from Hannay are ideal for a variety of applications requiring dual hose for separate materials such as gases and liquids or air and coolant. These narrow-framed, spring-rewind reels are designed to simultaneously accommodate equal lengths of two hoses that can be different diameters.

The narrow frame and compact mounting base allow the N600 to fit into limited space work environments. A non-sparking ratchet assembly locks the reel at the desired length of hose payout, and a pull on the hose unlocks the reel for the spring motor to retract it. A declutching arbor is also included to prevent damage from reverse winding.
