FCW-206 wildland fire skid unit is ideal for first response UTVs that require no additional storage room or patient transport capacity KIMTEK® Corporation has just introduced the FCW-206 FIRELITE® Compact Wildfire UTV Skid Unit, the latest addition to its popular line of wildland fire skid units designed exclusively for UTV side-by-side vehicles. New for 2016, the Firelite FCW-206 maintains a small footprint base, just 48" wide by 34" long, enabling it to fit easily into larger UTV side-by-side cargo boxes with the tailgate closed. Ideal for first response UTVs that require no additional storage room or patient transport capacity, the FCW-206 is an ultra-compact yet powerful quick attack slip on fire skid. Durable, tested components KIMTEK's FCW-206 Compact unit comes equipped with the field-tested Darley® Davey 5.5 HP Honda® driven pump, Hannay® 4000 Series manual reel with booster hose, and an available 55 or 70 gallon tank. Perfect for rugged conditions, the FCW-206 is built on KIMTEK's signature all-aluminium chassis, recognised in the industry for superior strength and durability. Available options include Scotty® Around-the-Pump foam system with five-gallon foam cell and electric rewind option for the Hannay reel.

Rugged and rust proof, these lightweight slip-in fire skid units offer quality construction at an affordable cost. Kimtek partners with the best fire equipment producers: Darley, Hannay, Scotty, and Integra, to produce premium firefighting skid units for ATV/UTVs and pick-up beds. FIRELITE units are constructed of bright aluminum diamond plate with aluminum tubing sub-frame and utilize stainless steel piping and brass valves. All FIRELITE units come with a rescue area to carry a stokes litter, long board, optional cross lay hose tray or optional fully enclosed tool storage area. A large storage section with tail gate for storing hard suction, forestry hose, nozzles, and other appliances is built in. The units are designed to be lifted by reinforced undercarriage fork lift supports or by four corner eye bolts. Compact pick-up truck FIRELITE skid units are utilized in rural construction areas, mining operations, off-road fire-rescue calls, and various other events throughout the United States. These skid units are quickly making their presence in the firefighting scenes as quick, effective, and efficient response units. The FIRELITE Transport FDHP compact skid unit for pick-up trucks features a stationary Darley two stage high pressure pump in sizes from 5.5 to 13 HP, some with electric start; an NFPA compliant baffled ploy tank, with 125, 160, or 200 gallon capacity, integrated tank sight gauge and an adapter to refill water backpacks in the field without stating the pump; a Scotty 4071 Around-The-Pump Foam System with integrated five gallon foam tank; and a Hannay Series 4000 electric rewind reel with booster hose.
Roger Hannay, while stepping down as CEO, will continue to serve as Chairman of the Board On June 12th, Eric Hannay was named President and Chief Executive Officer of Hannay Reels, having previously served as COO and other positions since joining the company in 1993. Also on June 12th, Elaine Hannay Gruener was named Chief Operating Officer. With the company since 1994, Elaine had previously held the title of VP Human Resources and will continue carrying out that role while taking on additional administrative and marketing duties. Both Eric and Elaine are 4th generation family members. Roger Hannay, while stepping down as CEO, will remain active within the company, continuing to serve as Chairman of the Board.
