A cow's unusual escapades led to two Fire and Rescue NSW (FRNSW) emergencies within a single day in western Sydney.
The animal's sudden appearance at a shopping center in Caddens ignited the first response by a crew from St Marys Fire Station, as local authorities collaborated to safely manage the situation.

Firefighters worked closely with the police to devise a strategy for handling the situation, eventually guiding the cow to a safe temporary haven on the grounds of a nearby university in Werrington.
However, the following morning around 10:30, another call was placed to the authorities, this time reporting the cow trapped in mud on the university campus.
