Commfire just completed their latest project in the upgrading of the fire alarm system to future-proof it for the next 10 years. They have to replace the original fire alarm control panel due to age-related issues where the system kept crashing, the usual reboot process (switch off and back on again) would not resolve the problem
The fire alarm control panel was replaced with the latest touch screen technology using the Teledate One fire alarm control panel and Apollo protocol (smoke detectors, sounders, and interface units). One of their main challenges had to work at height above expensive BMW cars.
