Recently, the award ceremony for the "Großer Preis des Mittelstandes" (Grand Prix of Small and Medium-Sized Business) of the Oskar-Patzelt Foundation took place in Düsseldorf. As one of six companies in NRW, we were awarded with the finalist prize.
The Großer Preis des Mittelstandes is ”Germany’s most coveted business award “ (DIE WELT). Across the country, 4,970 companies were nominated this year. We were proposed by the City of Borken and the Business Development Agency.
Nomination criteria
An independent jury assesses the nominated companies based on the following criteria:
- Overall development of the company
- Creation and maintenance of jobs and apprenticeships
- Modernization and innovation
- Engagement with the local region
- Service, customer focus, and marketing
