Chubb Dorgard is an acoustically activated fire door release device designed to allow freedom of access around a busy workplace whilst protecting the building and its occupants against the dangers of fire. It is a battery operated device simply fitted to the bottom of fire doors.  It needs no complex wiring in to the fire alarm system. In case of a fire alarm sound, Dorgard will automatically release the door into the shut position to help contain the fire in a given section of the building.
