Saint Gobain Performance Plastics has made quality protective apparels for the fire, rescue and safety industry

ONESuit Shield is developed from Saint-Gobain's proprietary high-performance Coretech Barrier Membrane.

Saint Gobain Performance Plastics introduces the company's first Level B style hazmat suit, ONESuit Shield, at the National Safety Council Congress and Expo, October 4-6, in San Diego at Booth # 5750.

"The Protective Systems team at Saint-Gobain prides itself on listening to the demands of first responders world-wide," said Peter A. Kirk, Market Manager. "Our decision to engineer a Level B suit was based on feedback we received from firefighters, military personnel, law enforcement and occupational safety professionals who were looking for the quality of Saint-Gobain's material technology in a Level B suit."

ONESuit Shield is developed from Saint-Gobain's proprietary high-performance Coretech Barrier Membrane, ensuring the flexibility and comfort that emergency responders have come to expect from the company's Level A portfolio. It is currently in testing for NFPA 1992 and NFPA 1994 standards. Level B hazmat suits are used for interacting with controlled and known chemicals in liquid form. The company's line of products include the ONESuit Pro, the industry's most affordable hazmat suit certified to the NFPA 1991 standard, ONESuit Flash, ONESuit Gard, and ONEGlove Hazmat.
