The VIKING Freedom® Residential Concealed Horizontal Sidewall Sprinkler VK480 is a high-performing fire protection device designed for concealed pipe systems. Its sleek design features a small high-sensitivity solder link and lever, making it ideal for residential settings where aesthetic appeal is important. With a nominal K-Factor of 4.0, the VK480 utilizes available water supplies efficiently for hydraulic systems, ensuring rapid response during a fire.
The VK480’s standout feature is its corrosion-resistant Electroless Nickel PTFE (ENT) coating, tested and approved for installation in corrosive environments. The sprinkler remains hidden behind a low-profile cover plate, available in multiple decorative finishes, blending seamlessly with interior designs. The push-on cover plate design offers easy installation and allows for a 1/4” adjustment to accommodate various wall finishes.
