The Viking Freedom® Residential Pendent Sprinkler VK472 is engineered for effective firefighting in residential environments. Featuring a thermosensitive glass bulb and a robust orifice design, it boasts a K-Factor of 5.8, which efficiently utilizes water resources for fire protection systems. Available in multiple finishes and temperature ratings, this sprinkler can adapt to various design requirements. Its Electroless Nickel PTFE (ENT) coating ensures durability in corrosive atmospheres, being C-UL-US-EU Listed for corrosion resistance.

This sprinkler is characterized by a maximum working pressure of 175 psi (12 bar) and has been factory-tested hydrostatically up to 500 psi (34.5 bar). It fits a 1/2” (15 mm) NPT thread size, ensuring compatibility with standard residential systems. The VK472 measures 2-1/4” (58 mm) in length, and its construction incorporates materials such as brass, glass, and stainless steel, emphasizing longevity and reliable performance. When activated by fire-induced heat, the sprinkler's glass bulb shatters, deploying a controlled water spray to mitigate fire spread.
