Product description

The Viking Mirage® Quick Response Concealed Pendent Sprinkler VK464 is an advanced solution for maintaining seamless ceiling aesthetics while ensuring robust fire safety. Designed to integrate into concealed pipe systems, this sprinkler features a thermosensitive glass-bulb mechanism that activates rapidly during fire conditions. Its two-piece design includes a pre-assembled threaded adapter, facilitating straightforward installation and system testing before the ceiling cover is added.

This sprinkler model boasts a Nominal K-Factor of 8.0 and operates within a pressure range of 7 psi to 175 psi, ensuring reliable performance in various environments. The Viking Mirage VK464 is distinctively coated with Electroless Nickel PTFE (ENT), making it suitable for installation in corrosive settings. While the sprinkler assembly benefits from this corrosion-resistant finish, the cover plate does not.

Key Features

  • Concealed installation with up to ½” vertical adjustment.
  • Factory-tested to withstand pressure up to 500 psi.
  • Constructed with durable materials like brass, stainless steel, and phosphor bronze.
  • Approved by cULus and NYC for enhanced safety assurance.

Ideal Use Cases

The Viking Mirage® VK464 is ideal for spaces that demand both fire protection and an uninterrupted ceiling finish. Its use is recommended in corrosive environments, due to its ENT coating, and in settings where rapid fire response is critical, such as commercial buildings and residential complexes subject to rigorous fire safety standards.
