The Viking Mirage® Quick Response Concealed Pendent Sprinkler VK464 (K8.0) presents an innovative solution for fire protection systems where aesthetics and technology converge. It features a thermosensitive glass-bulb design, optimal for concealed pipe systems that maintain a smooth ceiling appearance.
Engineered with a pre-assembled threaded adapter and a low-profile cover assembly, this sprinkler offers up to ½” (13 mm) of vertical adjustment for precise installation. Its two-piece configuration permits system verification prior to cover plate installation, minimizing downtime. The unique "push-on" and "thread-on" designs allow for straightforward post-installation of the cover plate after ceiling work completion, and the cover assembly can be removed without deactivating the sprinkler system, enhancing flexibility during maintenance.
