Latest WAGNER Group GmbH news & announcements
WAGNER Group GmbH will be presenting pioneering solutions for fire protection in modern logistics properties at BUILDINX 2025 in Dortmund from November 18 to 20, 2025. The focus of the trade fair presentation at booth 5.B80 in hall 5 will be on digitalization and carbon-neutral fire prevention – two key areas for more safety, efficiency, and sustainability in the real estate industry. In addition, WAGNER will demonstrate how risks in sensitive technical areas can be reduced effectively and how these areas can be protected against malfunctions with an aspirating smoke detection system that was specially developed for server and control cabinets. aspirating smoke detector The TITANUS RACK SENS aspirating smoke detector is ideal for use in the IT infrastructure of automated distribution centers. The compact system detects even the smallest smoke particles at an early stage and enables rapid intervention before business interruptions or property damage occur. In addition to early detection, the system can be combined with targeted extinguishing; the extinguishing agent can be placed directly in the cabinet or outside. This ensures maximum operational readiness and reliable protection for critical digital processes. With its Fire Protection 4.0 approach, WAGNER uses AI-supported condition monitoring as an example to show how innovative digital technologies increase the safety of systems while reducing operating costs. Carbon-neutral fire prevention Carbon-neutral fire prevention is made possible by innovative fuel cell technology, which operates emission-free and also meets the highest safety standards through oxygen reduction. This provides an innovative, economical, and sustainable fire protection solution with the added value of simultaneous emission-free and self-sufficient energy production. Special highlights on the topics mentioned can also be found in the BUILDINX supporting program: Dr.-Ing. Tobias Frank, Director of Digital Services at WAGNER, will speak about "Fire Protection 4.0 – How AI and Data Are Already Driving Greater Safety" with Louisa Schlang in the Conference Area on November 18 at 12:30 p.m. Using concrete practical examples, he will show how digital services are revolutionizing transparency and efficiency in fire protection. Panel discussion A panel discussion on the topic "New energy, new risk? Hydrogen in logistics real estate I How fire protection and security of supply should be considered together." will also take place in the Innovation Area on November 18 at 1:30 p.m. Jens Büchler, Product Manager at WAGNER, will join Martin Pollpeter, Managing Director and Owner at Bockermann Fritze plan4buildING GmbH, in a compact discussion round to highlight the determining factors in the use of hydrogen technology from various perspectives – from the point of risk, safety, and prospective viability. The focus will be on the opportunities hydrogen offers for resilience, security of supply, and sustainability, and the risks that operators, insurers, and fire protection experts need to keep in mind. Impulses for a carbon-neutral infrastructure for modern logistics properties can be expected in this panel discussion, which is chaired by insurance expert Ralf Keck.

WAGNER Group GmbH has been awarded the GIT SECURITY AWARD 2026 in the "Fire protection" category. The award was given for the innovative OxyReduct F-Line oxygen reduction system, which actively prevents the outbreak of open fires under defined conditions. The system expands on the proven method of oxygen reduction with hydrogen-based fuel cell technology, which also enables an emission-free energy supply. The key advancement lies in the combination of a protective atmosphere and a self-sufficient energy supply. OxyReduct F-Line, thus, ensures continuous fire prevention with CO2-neutral operation – a milestone in preventive fire protection. Continuous oxygen reduction The solution is specially designed for applications with high availability and protection requirements. It really comes into its own in automated or deep-freeze warehouses, data centers, and archives, where conventional extinguishing systems reach their limits. Thanks to continuous oxygen reduction, fires cannot start, and damage from extinguishing agents or residues is avoided. With this award, the jury, the voting experts and industry insiders recognize both WAGNER's technical innovation, as well as its strategic commitment to consistently combining sustainability and safety. The OxyReduct F-Line is thus exemplary of a new generation of fire protection that takes on responsibility and actively drives change.
