Michael Bowman has served for many years both as a firefighter and a fire chief.
Ed Dobbs, Senior Vice President of the Emergency Response Chassis Division of Spartan Motors Chassis, Inc., a subsidiary of Spartan Motors, Inc., has announced the promotion of Michael Bowman to Director of Emergency Response Chassis Sales. "Having served many years as both firefighter and Fire Chief, Mike has extensive knowledge of the industry that will serve him well in his new role.
His sales and business insight are well-known and highly-respected throughout North America," commented Dobbs. "Spartan is committed to developing compelling products and services, and with Mike strategically driving existing and new product sales, we are poised to take advantage of tremendous opportunities in 2011 and beyond."
Bowman joined Spartan in 2008 as Midwest Regional Sales Manager, representing Spartan in Indiana, Illinois, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Iowa and Missouri. Bowman, who currently resides in Illinois, has more than 30 years of experience in sales and diesel engines. He also has more than 30 years of experience in firefighting and served his community as fire chief for 13 years.
