Visitors to this year’s FIREX International will have the opportunity to see the new HFP Marine & Offshore analogue addressable control panel from Hochiki Europe, the leading manufacturer of innovative life safety solutions.
The introduction of this new product marks a significant development for the company, as it is the first time that it has offered a control panel designed specifically for this type of environment.
The HFP Marine & Offshore control panel features 16 zonal LED indicators and is available in variants with either one or two detection loops. It can support up to 127 devices for Hochiki’s Enhanced Systems Protocol (ESP) protocol per loop driver. It also supports loop powered sounders, call points and I/O modules, and any number of the company’s other marine approved detection devices can be allocated to each zone, ensuring that a variety of system configurations are easily accommodated.
Using cutting edge microprocessor based electronics to provide a flexible control system with high reliability and integrity, this control panel is suitable for all small to medium sized environments and can be expanded and networked to become part of much larger systems if necessary. With its large graphical display and ergonomic button and indicator layout, the HFP Marine & Offshore control panel is simple and straightforward to configure for installers, commissioning engineers and end users alike.
Fully EN 54-2 and EN 54-4 compliant, this device also has Lloyds Register, Germanischer Lloyd, Det Norske Veritas, Korean Register, American Bureau of Shipping, Nippon Kaiji Kyokai and China Classification type approvals for a wide range of marine fire alarm system applications.
