BAFSA is pleased to announce Sprinklers Training Academy based in Dorset has commenced delivery of the L2 Certificate (Experienced Worker Route) in Fire Sprinkler Installation.

The Academy joins West College Scotland, Neath Port Talbot Group of Colleges, and Llandrillo College in delivering this online qualification.

Certification requirements

The link given on the BAFSA website explains the nationally recognized qualification (Level 2 Certificate in Fire Sprinkler Installation) covering Residential and Commercial fire sprinkler installation.

The Industry Skillcard (CSCS) for fire sprinkler installers (Blue Skilled Worker Card) has a requirement that above mentioned qualification, ie the Level 2, ‘Certificate in Fire Sprinkler Installation qualification is held. Sprinkler competencies

Ruth Oliver, BAFSA Skills & Qualifications Technical Adviser who worked with the Skills and Development Committee to achieve the qualification comments, “this qualification equips people with the skills that employers want and that learners need to secure and maintain employment.”
