| Ziegler supplies total of 9 vehicles to Turkey in April 2012 |
The German fire fighting vehicle manufacturer Ziegler has supplied a total of 9 vehicles to Turkey in April 2012. These vehicles included 4 water/foam tenders type “TLF 30/40-3”, 3 forest fire tenders “TLF 30/25-2” and 2 rescue vehicles with cranes. All of these new fire fighting vehicles crossed the Bosporus to the Turkish capital Ankara. Upon arrival they were taken into service immediately. At commissioning Metin Cetinkaya of the Ankara Fire Brigade was particularly impressed by the efficiency of the Ziegler vehicles: “We already have 20 ZIEGLER water/foam tenders TLF 30/40-3 in use. All vehicles are running trouble-free and reliably support our protection mission of almost 4,4 million fellow citizens of Ankara. I am sure that this also will be the case with the new vehicles”.
