The town of Ostfildern recently took delivery of two IVECO Magirus emergency service fire fighting vehicles on Mercedes Atego chassis. The range of equipment was selected on an individual basis in close coordination with the respective sub-stations.
The vehicle for the Nellingen brigade is, for example, additionally equipped with water supply gear. In the equipment locker, there is the possibility of laterally storing, among other things, a portable pump - easily removable by means of a lift - which can be used for supplying water.
The second vehicle was handed over to the Kemnat fire fighters. Both vehicles will optimize the possibilities available for the complete fire-fighting service in Ostfildern.
