Firefighters are investigating the possible cause of a fire which ripped through a derelict building in Leeds city center last night. Fire crews from across West Yorkshire were on site within minutes after the blaze rapidly took hold of the vacant Leonardo Building. The fire began just before 8 pm on Saturday evening, with flames seen coming out the top of the multi-storey building on Cookridge Street, near Millennium Square and Leeds General Infirmary.  Local pubs and bars were evacuated...

At approximately 5.20 pm, crews were called to a structure fire on Rodwell Road, Woodchester. Four trucks and one bulk water carrier attended the fire, supported by SAPOL and SAAS. The shed was not able to be saved with losses estimated at $400,000. There have been no injuries and the fire cause is under investigation. CFS crews are expected to remain at the scene for approximately another half an hour.

At approximately 11:00 am this morning CFS crews were called to a structure fire on Roehr Road, Tarnma in the State’s Mid North. Six CFS trucks including a bulk water carrier, supported by SAPOL attended the scene.
