The well-being of the people, customers and partners is always the number one priority. Lorient took the decision to close the manufacturing sites and depots from the 27th March, following the outbreak of COVID-19 pandemic.
They confirmed it will be re-opening the sites in a phased approach starting from the 11th May. They have taken this decision following a series of government updates and strict internal reviews to make sure they can safely resume operations. It has also been positive to see many businesses in the construction industry returning.

Readjustments have been made to continue to protect the health and safety, as well as well-being of the employees. These include new site entry procedures, implementing regular cleaning and disinfection routines and revised layouts, ensuring social distancing measures can be implemented between workspaces, offices and in the canteen.
From the 11th May, Lorient will ramp up operations in stages, this is to make sure they can safely enable more staff to return to work. This means they will not be operating at full capacity and over the coming weeks there may at times be some delays.
They are working hard to mitigate any delays, but ask everyone to kindly please bear with them should this occur.
