BAFSA has received a belated report of a Sprinkler Save which occurred on 24th November 2021. London Fire Brigade has reported a sprinkler actuation of the Ilford Academy’s sprinkler system following a fire in a waste bin located in a changing room.
One concealed sprinkler head operated suppressing, extinguished the fire preventing the fire from spreading from the room of origin. Total property area damaged by fire estimated to be under 5 square meters. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
