Abbot Fire Group are approved by the Loss Prevention Certification Board to install and service kitchen fire suppression systems
Abbot Fire Group specialises in fire prevention and safety systems

Abbot Fire Group, specialists in fire prevention and safety, is proud to announce itself as the first and only UK company to be approved by the Loss Prevention Certification Board (LPCB) to install and service Ansul kitchen suppression systems.

These sophisticated fire suppression systems are vital for any commercial kitchen as they respond within seconds to a fire break out. Perfectly suited for hotel kitchens, restaurants and fast food outlets, the Ansul system gives protection 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, therefore protecting premises even when they aren’t manned.

The LPCB provides an independent 3rd party approval, through assessing and certifying fire and security systems and services. To have their approval is the ultimate mark of approval and is recognised throughout the fire industry.

Nigel Walton, Director at Abbot Fire Group, said: “At Abbot Fire Group we consistently work hard to maintain high standards in all areas of our business. We are therefore delighted to be the 1st and only company in the UK to have LPCB certification. Such 3rd party endorsement for our installation and servicing of Ansul kitchen suppression systems will ensure we are highly regarded within the fire industry which is fantastic”.

Abbot Fire Group demonstrated how the Ansul kitchen suppression system works at International FIREX 2011, which took place recently at the NEC in Birmingham.
