Streamlight®, a leading manufacturer of high-performance portable flashlights, has appointed Kevin V. Burger to the position of National Account Manager - Automotive and Do-It-Yourself Division.

In his new position, Burger will work with Streamlight distributors such as Mac Tools, Matco Tools and Cornwell Tools to achieve annual objectives. Burger will also work closely with distributor representatives to provide advice and assist in developing customer-specific promotions.

Burger comes to Streamlight from Ohio-based Lamson & Sessions, which was recently acquired by Thomas & Betts. He also served as a product manager.

He previously served as a business development representative with Progressive Insurance. He graduated from Kent State University with a Bachelor of General Studies in 1996.

"Kevin brings extensive experience in business-to-business sales and sales management, working directly with leading companies such as Home Depot, Lowe's, Wal-Mart and ACE," said Brian Correia, Streamlight Vice President of Sales. "His expertise will contribute to further strengthening Streamlight's position as a leading provider of high-performance lighting products for the automotive and do-it-yourself segments."
