Kentec range employs latest LED technology to provide high reliability, high brightness and audio / visual warning indication unit

Kentec’s wide range of illuminated warning signs now includes an IP66 rated weatherproof version, consisting of a polycarbonate enclosure with metal chassis. As with the other signs in the range, it is available with standard or customised text and language versions.

The Kentec range employs the very latest in LED technology to provide a high reliability, high brightness, audio/ visual warning indication unit. The brightness of the sign remains constant over its entire operating range of 15 to 30 volts DC due to its unique ‘power boost’ circuitry. This ensures that even with a system running on depleted batteries, all signs remain at full intensity.

Warning signs in split colours

A split level design allows one message to be displayed in the top half of the sign and an additional message to be displayed in the bottom, allowing for two stage warnings for systems such as extinguishing protection systems.

The signs are now also available in split colours. Red, green or yellow acrylic can be mounted in the top section and the bottom section in any configuration. Text can be printed in black or alternatively can be reversed so the letters appear in the colour of the acrylic.
