CLD Standards Council Scotland have been granted a contract from Skills Development Scotland to carry out a review of the Learning & Development National Occupational Standards (NOS) which were last reviewed in 2010.
As these standards are applicable across the United Kingdom, the CLD Standards Council Scotland have been working with a range of national and local organizations from Scotland, England, Northern Ireland, and Wales during the revision process.
Focus groups
Focus groups were conducted across each of the four nations to discuss any changes to the functional map in conjunction with specific updates to the NOS.
The NOS for Learning & Development have now been updated and CLD Standards Council Scotland would like input regarding the proposed changes.
